Rose Duchesne is an American hero. She arrived in New Orleans in 1881 after surviving the French Revolution. This woman who was called by the Indians she worked with, "Woman-who-prays-always" worked tirelessly west of the Mississippi River bringing the Gospel message. Rose, the pioneer Saint died at age 83.
