Remnant began as a band but then grew into a group of lay people at the service of the church.
Our goal is twofold.
1. Formation through catechesis and the interior life which occurs through our membership in Transitus: Oblates of the Last Martyrdom as professed or guest members.
2. Apostolic Work, which is our service to the local diocese and parishes. Our primary apostolic work is the organization and running of retreats and rallies. We also provide free online resources for catechesis, youth directors and teachers.
Remnant has served over 120 groups (dioceses, parishes, schools and organizations) traveling to 20 states and 5 countries, putting on just over 300 events (concerts, retreats, rallies, lock-ins and talks) including shows at World Youth Day in Toronto in 2002, Cologne in 2005 and Sydney in 2008. Remnant has also played at conferences, DCYCs and various events at parishes and schools, sometimes playing for crowds as large as 7000.
